Tis the season...

wow i have been a real slacker. But to the title of this post.... tis the season of sickness...ey??? wow and we have had it! I blame kindergarten really. But then it goes through each of us and its usually a doozy! But we are on a break of sickness and so i thought i would let you in on what our every weekend is consumed of....

We are finishing the basement room for the boys! We added doors.

A closet!

Oh and then the fun begins. I will just have you know i helped with that sheet!

And then blakes dad showed up and saved me... and my back!
I know i am sounding like a total whiner.. but they are SO HEAVY!

All sheetrocked!

Then the mud! My dad helped us with this and it made it go alot faster!

Its crazy how is actually looks like a room! I am getting so excited and my planning mind is going crazy with ideas for their room! I sanded two nights ago and My dad and I put on the second coat! It sure is a chore sheetrocking and i don't know how anyone could do a whole house! Its horrible!

One more layer and then texture and then moldings, closet doors, primer, paint then carpet!!! I can't wait. The boys are gonna get bunkbeds and they are so excited!!

I am going to have a whole room upstairs empty.... what to do with it????

Can i say CRAFT ROOM for me!!!!!! Yes please!

My baby turned 2 yesterday!!!

I just can't believe it!

Time has flown by so fast.

At about monday of last week ry came down with a nasty cold. Soon after that it moved into his chest and then the fevers came. We had many sleepless nights and lots of tub time during the night.

We laid low and tried to get him feeling better.

Since we have the latest church ever.... I cooked some lunch and made a cake. after lunch the boys sang to him and he opened his presents that the boys got him!!!

He was so excited and would of eaten the whole cake had we let him!!!

IT was a great day!!! Even with the post nasal drip from ry!

Riley is the sweetest little boy. He is the most amazing sleeper and was shortly after he was born. I was so lucky!!. He is blond and has out of control curly hair!!! He is stubborn but pretty easy going. He entertains himself well!! The thing about having all boys is they all play well together!!! You can never have enough cars right??? He adores his older brothers!

We are so blessed to have him in our life and I can't imagine it without him!!

Well the day has finally come. Bent had to get his tonsils/adenoids out! He is a deep snorer (like and 80 yr old) and when a cold goes through our family he usually gets a sinus infection with it and it lasts 2 weeks plus. Poor thing. Finally he came of age and we were able to get this taken care of.
The night before we went out and bought him some new monkey pjs (he is in a monkey thing right now) We went to the hospital and got all ready. I had to change him into their little nighties. He was super upset and said "don't like this mom. everyone can see my bum".
He did great in surgery. But all these kids that were behind us kept coming out... but no bently. I was starting to freak out a little. Then I hear this little boy saying "no no let me go.... MMMOOMMM" and here comes my sweet bently. UMm no he was not sweet, he was thrashing, if he knew cuss words he would of been doing that too. He was arching his back, yelling and trying his hardest to get his IV out. The nurse goes "I'm sorry he had a reaction to the morphine. and this is what happens sometimes" I just tried to hold him, he was bleeding from his nose and trying to fight me. IV cords were all over. Then he got the Coban off his wrist and here comes the IV. So more blood. It was a disaster and i was at my wits ends. The dr came in and said that he had massive tissue growing on top of his adenoids and puss pockets everywhere. He also told me that he guarantees that they were the root of the problems of all of his infant ear problems. About 45 min after they brought him to me he was out. And had finally calmed down. He recovered like a champ and it was hard to keep him down actually. I know his feelings got hurt a couple of times because he couldn't play and go to school. I am so glad that is over!!! I will take stitches over that anyday!!!!

I couldn't get ry to sit still for a minute! So this is it.

The boys most adorable hats in the world!! Santa has got it goin on!!

I love them.

And then there is this mean/funny joke that blake did. My Gpa Butterfield passed away a couple of months ago.

Blake had recieved a gift card from his mom in the box.

So blake cut a hole in the bottom and stuck his nasty smashed finger in there. He had the top on and told the boys to come here because he had one more Christmas gift to give them. He said that it was a gift from my gpa and it was very special because it was a piece of him. So he opens the box and brody's eyes were huge. And he was totally creeped out.

So then after a minute of brody looking at it but not too close Blake moved his finger and Brody screamed like a little girl and Blake nearly peed his pants. I have never in my life seen him laugh so dang hard.

Not a very nice joke huh, Hey at least its something we can talk about when they are older and laugh!!

We had a wonderful christmas. It was so nice to not have to travel and just take it easy and take our time!!

Here is to next year!! Hope its a good one!

Now it happenend to me!! And i am quite impressed.

Looking at these pics brody took made me realize that I am usually the one taking the pics, So i am never in them!!! So here is a change!! Can Christmas just get here, and all the sickness go away, so we can break out the activities!!!!! It's driving me crazy!!!

An Experiance worth sharing

For family night I read the Story Christmas Trolls by Jan Brett

It talks about these trolls that steal all of Treva's christmas presents and decorations. So she follows them and finds out all they want is to have a Christmas of there own.

She has a prized red horse that is her most favorite toy. She decides to give it to the trolls to show them that Christmas is about giving. In the end she gets a present of her own. Such a great story. LOve all Jan Brett's stories.

So after the story I asked Brody and Bently if they could go through their own toys and find some toys that they could part with to give to children that might not get any presents this year.

Bently's eyes well up with tears and he says to me that he would give one of his stuffed Curious George Monkeys. They are his most favorite toys.

My heart was so touched that my 3 year old had got the concept of the story and was willing to give something worth so much value to him. Not gonna lie I cried too.

We are so fortunate to be able to give gifts to our children but there are some that aren't. Hopefully our plastic Walmart bag full of toys will bring a smile to someone!!

My little boy!!!

Man do we love our brody. I can't believe he is six. Time goes by so fast.

Brody was the easiest baby. Always happy. They actually called him the happy spitter. He was a big chunky thing!! He was my buddy. He kept me company while blake was working and he still does. He is very tender hearted. If we are watching a sad show usually brody and i are the ones you will see crying.

He is so smart and always has been. I have seriously never been more proud of him since he has been in school. He wants to learn and is doing amazing. He is already picking up math, he must of got that from his dad.

We love YOU so much.

When Blake and I a month from getting married. Blake was like lets go catch some frogs. So we went to this place and had a blast. I know not your typical date but it was fun.

When we moved from the valley every summer we would come up usually around the 4th of july, we would go to this spot and catch frogs with the kids.

SO much fun and such a great tradition. With three boys you really cant go wrong!

THese caterpillars were everwhere. When i was younger in the summer I would go with my two friends and we would go stay the day at her gma's house in Amalga. RIP Elmo! Right before school would start these catapillars were everywhere. Such a fun memory to look back on!!!

Bently has been having some serious withdrawls since brody goes to school everyday. Bently only goes 2 days a week so that is a lot of playtime with just riley.

So as i was trying to get my craft on I sent up this tunnel.

Around and around they would go. I do get my kids dressed. But ry was teething and would throw a fit about pretty much anything thus the reason why he is still in the pjs.

Such a great time without spending a dime!!!

Brody's tooth is gone!!! How funny is that, that i posted about brody's loose tooth and he lost it that night!!!

He is getting tooo big. tear

And my blonde oak cabinets are gone!!!

This has been my little nag for a while. These cabinets have been driving me crazy. I hate blonde oak. So I finally bit the bullet and refinished them.... (this is the previous owners pic.)

And here they are!!! I know the GREEN Countertops are gorgeous but hay one thing at a time right!!!

I used a kit by rusteoleum. And did them a color called Kona. Its not black, but you would never know. I sanded the edges to give them that country look that i love!!

I'm so happy with them. But do you notice some blonde oak poking through at the left hand corner of this pic.... I forgot to do the whole underneath of the cabinets. Dang it. Just when you think you are done!!! But oh how i love them!!!!

Where'd the summer go

This last of summer was quite fun!!! The boys had a lot of fun catching frogs and snakes (ummm gulp)

We have been doing TONS of remodeling. Just trying to make this house our home. I will show more pictures about that soon!!!

All the Brower grandkids together!!! Poor Bella the only little girl!!! We love bear lake!

And lots of hikes. Anything outside is fun to a boy i swear.

Then.... BAM Brody is in Kindergarten. I did really good and didn't even cry dropping him off. He was super excited and ready to go. When i picked him up he was so excited and that is when the tears came. He is so big and so independant. He loves to be with other kids and loves to learn. He is so smart. We are so proud of him. Hopefully the tooth fairy isn't to busy to come and visit us. Brody has two teeth that are already growing in. I have a feeling he will lose 4 at once!!!! Hope the tooth fairy is ready. :)

We met at a random Aggie game. I knew about him from a friend. (He got my # from her! Thank you Natalie :)) We started dating that fall. And that next april he proposed and we were married in aug of that year (2004). Shortly after getting married (6months) we surprisingly found out i was pregnant.

That was Brody

We moved from Smithfield, to Cedar City, to Enoch.

Then came Bently...

Then came Ry.

We moved from our enoch home into a rental, then back to Cache Valley!

After many NEW things and places, many adventures and lots of baby boys, I love him more than ever. I have never met anyone who works so hard for his family. There isn't anyone who can't say he isn't the hardest worker they have ever met. I tend to worry and stress about, well everything and he is my rock. He makes me laugh and keeps us going. He is my boys Hero.

On August 6 we had our 7th anniversary, Thankfully two weeks prior we went on a date, which ended up being our anniversary vaca since we were dealing with his broken arm. I'm not gonna lie this last month having him home has been the best. I don't care that i had to wait on him hand and foot! We loved having him home.
Happy anniversary Blake!!! Here's to more years, and maybe one more baby (boy) if i can talk him into it!! ha!!

So much fun. We had 4 whole days of blake to ourselves!!! And it was heaven. We went to the zoo and hunted for frogs, museum, hiked, fireworks, waterballoon fights, swimming and had so much fun!!! Summer is the best!

I had to show this picture because really how often does this happen??? Never really in my house. I was bustling around getting things done and then noticed how quiet it was. So i went on a hunt... and i found this. Brody and Bently were playing with toys and NOT fighting.

And Ry was sitting reading this book. He isn't at the age where i can read him a story or anything. He won't sit long enough to let me. So i was in shock!!! So nice to have kids play happy!

And then i just had to show this pic. I rarely am even in a place where i have my camera to take a good picture. But this was crazy pretty. A storm just rolled in and then it stopped and the sun peaked through as it was setting. These rainbows were gorgeous, and it was so green from the lighting that it looked like we were in ireland or something.

So pretty!!! I know this post is a bunch of randoms but

So this weekend I got sick. I mean i haven't been that sick in years. So on saturday morning I was asleep and around 9:30 I was greeted in the face, by Sally. Mind you i wear contacts. Its a must I am BLIND. So i had know idea what these four wholigans were trying to show me. They kept putting it close to my face so I could see and i just kept backing up.

I have NEVER in my life seen a salamander. She was huge. They aren't very quick which was nice because i really didn't want to share my bed with her. I have found out in a quick hurry that a house full of boys is going to be an adventure with many creatures!!!

Nice to meet you Sally. Next time lets meet outside.

Ok so this room was all that dark brown. It was dark and made it look so small.

Got the bottom painted and the white was to yellow. boo, so we got the slats anyway.

Then i got them all painted!!

SO originally i was going to have mustard and grey. THen while i was in Big Lots i saw these lamp shades and it through a wrench into my original plan.

Finally we got my bed in, and do you see that midget lamp shade in the corner... yea that is the one. So i have added many more touches which i will post pics tomorrow, but here is a start...ey!!! I love doing this. Keeps me busy and it is so gosh darn fun!!!!!

Wow its been a long time....

But with very good reason. We have been doing this..... (picture above)

WE MOVED.
After almost 4 years in southern utah, we made the move back to northern. It has been a crazy ride with living with my parents for a week, Redoing rooms, paint paint and more paint and lots of stuff still in boxes.
It was hard to leave Cedar. I made some of the best friends i have ever met there. And leaving one was the worst. Don't you just wish you could pack certain people in a box and take them with you????
But it will be nice to be closer to family. My boys love their grandparents!!!
SO that is the story of why we have been MIA. I will get some pictures up and rolling of the updating of our home!!!

He is getting so big. He is such a character and is so funny. He does this "wiggle" dance and i tell ya he moves his shoulders and torso like a cuban dancer!!! haha.
He has the stubborn streak in him and isn't walking yet. He can i think but gets scared not holding on to something. So he just speed crawls. He is the only one out of my three that will give me luvs and just let me hold him. I love that!

Man Blogger has sucked lately. I haven't been able to post and it has been driving me crazy. Here are somethings that we have done lately.

We went up to Ranch and looked at the Elk. Honestly not my cup of tea. I hate being cold.

But the kids loved it. When they got in the sleigh the "guide" says... "Hello my name is Mr. Hambooger!" So now i think that hamburger is forever hambooger at this household.

Snow much snow!!!! The boys had a blast sledding and being towed around by grandpa!

I was out running errands and apparently i had brody's coat in my car. so I come home and he was wearing a Grizzlies Grace Hoody that is too big for me!!! Hey when you got wear something you might as well represent Grace ID!!!! what????? jk

Sadly we were all spread out for Bently's bday (Blake in AZ, us in logan) so he didn't get a traditional bday party. But i don't think he could of cared less!!! We went to the fun park, McDonalds for the best kids meals in the world (blah), Ate pizza, opened presents and just kinda hung out!!!! I can't believe Bent is so old. 3yrs!!!

Then when we all made it home we had a little party and bent got some new undies. Well we have this thing when the boys get out of the shower and have jsut their undies on we call them "undyman". So one of them put the new underwear on their head and that is how we ended up with these pics.

Riley was hilarious!!!! He just kept laughing at the boys with these "things" on their head.

Bently is so cute and full of life. He is such a daddys boy. They have a cute little bond. HE has that same bond with his grandpas too. He is so stubborn but soft at the same time. He plays with Riley so good and loves brody to death. He is a joy in our family and we love him!!! Happy Bday Bent!!!

Bently got some more Batman stuff and books and was spoiled by all of his family!!!

I am secretly glad that feb is over. Secretly no.... there is no hiding it January and February kill me. Gloomy, cold, overcast, i could go on and on. So i am ready for chirping birds and jacket weather. you?

Wow i know over load of Riley lately, but he is just experiancing all these new things and it is so funny to see how he handles them!!!

First time on grass and to see rocks. Not gonna lie he tasted a few!! yuck.

But he just took off!!! No fear!!!

Here is the first time on grass. At first he was a little leary. The grass down here is very stiff and spikey!. Another funny thing is in the background you can see a snowmobile that is our neighbors. Blake says that his family had one way back in the day!!!
"it's a dinosaur"!!! Isn't it so beautiful down here right now!!!! blah.

But it didn't take long and riley was off. After this day i was itching so bad for spring to be here. We dejunked a lot!!!! Now i just wish that snow wouldn't come back. But what can you expect with Utah weather!!!!

The Definition of "Dig IN"!!!

We had Riley's bday party kind of all weekend. We took riley swimming for the first time in the new aquatic center here. As soon as we went in the pool area ry started to cry. It was so so so loud in there and i think he was a bit overwhelmed. But after getting him in the water he loved it. And of course Brody & Bently did too! We left the aquatic center with Bently taking off his swim suit and streaking down the hall. I was so embarrassed. Boys?

Then yesterday we had his little party. Here we are singing to him.

He had no idea what it was.

So blake helped him out. after that....

He DOVE IN!!! My other boys don't like to get dirty and have issues with things on their hands. not riley!!!

He got a new booster seat from us and he loves it! Now he can be part of the family when we eat. I know i have said it before but time really does go fast and it makes me sad that his baby stage is over. But he really is so fun right now. Happy bday ry!

Ry is one!!!

I Can't believe it is here but Ry is one year old today!!!!

We decided to have a party for him next week but i couldn't not post about him

on his actual bday right!!!

Here is some fun facts about ry.

YESTERDAY... He started doing this. He just goes and fast. So getting a pic was quite difficult. we have some wicked stairs that are his favorite thing to sprint for.

So i can't ever take my eye off of him!!!

He loves to stand!! He has issues with this chair. He loves it and would always roll over to it and get stuck either under it or sitting by it. Lets just say it has caused many bruises.

His personality is a perfect mix of both bently and brody. He is very chill and does things in more of a lazy pace (brody). But he is very determined and independant...meaning no cuddling (bently). He is very happy and has been such a great baby. Glad we knew about the Ear Tube trick though (thanks to bently)!!!

He is very funny. Calls a bottle "bobda". will say "baa" numerous times in a row. The first time he said that blake was a little tripped out it sounds like a little lamb!! He says MAMA when he is mad or ticked. Has sepparation anxiety.

I can't get out of the car to get the mail without him losing it.

I can't believe i got a picture of this but he itches his nose when he is tired!! Funny huh. He will do it over and over until you put him down. We finished up with the helmet in the first of dec. And what an impact it had on his head. Spendy but worth it!

He has 4 teeth but getting his top two right now. He gets them two at a time just like Brody did. He has a little mole thing on his neck that both brody and i have. His eyes are green but the left eye is half brown and half green. and the right one has a little spot that is brown. He is BLONDE???? and fair. Not like my other two.

He is allergic to milk....not sure what we are gonna do about that yet! :)

Its hard to think back when he was this little. The littlest of my boys. 6lbs 4 ounces. He was so old manish just like brody too. He gave me lots of scares, but he is such a precious little boy and a big part of our family. we love him and I can't believe that he is one. Time goes by so fast. You wish that certain stages are over but once they are gone you wish you could have them back. Heres to the days of Swings, Laying in the boppy, Localized sitting, on to the days of vacuuming every day, gates,

and helping him learn "no"!!!

For the first time ever we went bowling as a family. The boys were so excited. I think everyone had the same idea!! The place was packed!

We tried with out the metal thingy and brody was getting pretty frustrated. So we got this thing out and it made bowling easier and funner!

well Last minute and after two or three different times and dates.... we had a family bday party for Brody. we literally drove up to logan and an hour later had the party. Things didn't work out quite like planned... the pizza got cold, about an hour after the party had started I lost my diaper bag that had riley's food in it. So he was freaking out and so was i!!! But the breadsticks, salad, decorations, drinks, were perfect. Thanks for all of our family's help. Here is a few pics, wish i had more.

He got lots of presents and i think had a blast.

After we got home he went and had his 5 yr shots!! He got 4 and didn't even cry AT ALL. Just did this nervous laugh!! So brave. The next day he complained that he couldn't walk but was fine after i gave him some tylenol! He is such a good boy.

this is up from 6% last year!! So at least we know he grew taller.

All though quite petite, Brody is very smart, and super sensitive. He loves to go with his dad and I know he will be into hunting just like his dad. He is such a great helper. Loves to make friends and play with them. Very independant!

I am very proud of him! I can't believe i have a 5 yr old!!! We love him. Oh my goodness.

We started a new tradition and after halloween we went to the shooting range and the boys shot their pumpkins with dads help. And drum roll please..... I shot a gun for the first time EVER. Thank you blake. Ok so it was a little 22. But still blake has been tryin to get me to shoot one for a 7+ years. So that is a big accomplish. Super fun time.

Pretty fun! BRody was in heaven. He knew alot of the names of dinosaurs. And at one time he was talking to another boy that was there and was telling him facts about the dinosaurs. So funny.

Tubes and such...

Man this poor little guy.... He has been blessed with not so awesome genetics. Blake and I both had problems with our ears, resulting in tubes for me... so naturally all of our children have struggled when it comes to ears. We went in on a monday to have his ears check since i found blood on his blanket which came from his ear. A ruptured ear drum.The doc said he needed tubes and we could wait or just get it done. Well we waited with bently and it really affected his speech so i wasn't about to do this to ry. So we got it done that thursday.

Wow was he pissed. He was starving and i woke him from his peaceful slumber. Not happy. This is us at the hospital. Check out that gown. so cute.

Here he is trying to eat the camera. The surgery went well and super fast. He has been doing great. Thank goodness he is such a happy camper. Thank goodness for me really. :)

And then this picture i just had to share mainly for my blog journal. When ry was 6 weeks old he was laying on my bed while i brushed my teeth. i looked over to him after hearing a wierd noise. Riley was blue. I ran to him and did pediatric hymlic thrusts on his back and he took a breath. ( i never dreamed i would ever have to do that. Thank goodness for CPR) Then about 10 minutes later He was blue again. I called a neighbor (it was 11:30pm) and asked her if she would come lay on the couch at my house. And we headed to the ER. They were very concerned and took xrays and such. Then they told me he needed to be admitted. Blake was in Oregon, and i was all alone with my neighbors juggling my kids. We were there for two nights and three days. Multiple tests were preformed and the conclusion that Riley had severe reflux and had a whey protein allergy. So basically he was allergic to me too. His esophogus was so swollen due to the reflux and my milk that it blocked his airway and caused him to stop breathing. He had to wear a oximetry jacket that measured his o2 and did an alarm if he stopped breathing. NOT FUN. He is now on medication, soy formula and doing fine. I just found these pics on my phone and thought i would write this event down.

Our little Riley has been through so much. But is such a blessing. He is so content and makes me laugh. He has the best little attitude and is so happy. And unlike any of my children sleeps through the night at 3 months old!!! we love him.

As of now he weighs

18.5 lbs

is 15% in height

and has an enormous shaped head that has decided to grow outwards.

He is so stinking cute and we love him so much.

Here we have it fresh and raw. You can tell it doesn't fit him exactly how it should.

I don't really know what kind of an expression that is. hahaha.

And here is the finished project. The appt was an hour long and lets just say a little to long for riley today.

This has definetly been and adventure. An expensive one but we are glad that we chose to do this. They have an average circumfrance and that is 80. We are talking all over not just the usual one your doc does. well riley's is at 140. So not only is his head big, it is big in the wrong places. So this is good and we are glad he has it! He has been struggling the first couple of nights. hates to be laid down with it on and sweats like crazy. But this will change and get better. you better believe the hour that he gets it off every day he is jabbering and so happy.

Brody has been loving school! He tells me all about the letters that he knows and the sounds they make. He is growing up and so smart. I knew he would love it.

Bently is POTTY TRAINED. It took about 2 days and he was done. He has a temperment a lot like his dad. and when he is determined to do something he does it. This was such a switch from brody. So we are very proud of him and love that we only have one little guy in diapers. hallelujah!!!!

Not only was it brody's first day at school but we had to go get the casting done for riley's helmet. It was very interesting and kinda sad too.

See his half shirt!! So fashionable. They put like a stocking thing on his head first. He was very good and didn't cry. Look at that tongue always movin.

They put the casting on the front, top, back, sides, and bottom of his neck.

Got it all marked up.

they said that when they put the forhead piece on is when the babies really start to cry. But he didn't and i was very impressed. I think i would of cried.

And whew got it off. He cried and i wanted to cry for him. At least they didn't have to break out the saw... jk... they don't have to, but i thought he was going to pull rileys head off his neck. So here is the start to our helmet adventure.

Well the day has come. I just dropped off my baby brody off at preschool. He was so excited and ready to go. He looked so big. He is so social and i'm not worried at all about him loving school.

I walked him to the door said goodbye and left. Got in my car... kept my composure until..... Bently says with alligator tears in his eyes "mom where did Duddy go?"

and yes we both cried the whole way home.

I can't believe he has grown up so fast. I am so proud of him!!

Brody is very social and easy going. And bently is used to having brody around. His little play buddy!! I am excited for the year to come. My little ones are growing up. Its so sad.

a while ago we packed up and went to the man made Cedar City lake. To do some fishing.

We were there for quite a while, with no luck. But Brody had a blast but i had to take bently into town with me because he was being a two year old and being a stinker!!

Brody's first Stitches!!

JUly 27....Well the evening started out great!! Daddy came home and the kids we so excited!! They were jumping, laughing and RUNNING around.

Next thing you know brody was running from the kitchen and bently was running from the living room and just like in slow motion..... BOOM. Brody and Bently ran smack into each other. Blood was everywhere. I grabbed brody and put him on the counter. His lip was completely filleted open. So litterally after blake being home for 5 minutes brod and i were off to instacare.

He did so good and got 4 stitches. He was so brave and didn't even cry. When we got home we saw the damage done to bent. He had a tooth mark on his forehead and a big gooseegg.

So here is day one!!! Still numb and not swollen yet. the doc did an awesome job!!
DAY 2. Man in pain that morning. But pretty happy during the day. At one time i said "your mouth looks like a horses mouth" and he said "that isn't very nice mom" lol.
I wasn't trying to be mean.

And this was yesterday!! The dr said that a couple of teeth were loose but would harden back and he would be fine.
it is looking really good and you shouldn't be able to see any scar!
SO wow first time for a mother of 3 boys. Just the beginning i am sure.

On our drive up to logan, we decided to break it up a little. There was SO much construction that we almost had too. So we decided to stop here!!
I was impressed. The kids loved it.Here are The Bullfrogs.

Riley didn't really care for any of it UNTIL we went to the turtles. He was freaking out. Just kicking and following them around with his eyes. it was so cute.

and so we got some good old carseat hair.

This was by far the coolest part. You can totally pet the sting rays. And they love it. They will come up to you and flap their "hands" at you so you will pet them. Brody was terrified. But blake made him touch them and then he was ok with it. Pretty fun stop if you ask me.

Well on the 22nd my little guy is 4 turned months old. So crazy. Isn't he cute. Time goes by to fast. Here he is before we left. So happy.

When we got home.... And then when he woke up. So sad. He is growing alot. He has gained 2 lbs in two months.

Here are his stats...

Weight: 13.8 25%

Height: 24 inches 15%

Head Circ : 16.5 in 38%

Poor thing has spiked a fever and has really sore legs. But other than that and a cold, he is the sweetest thing ever. He has the best temperment and sleeps through the night.But man shots are the PITS>

On another note. Look how my boys spend their time. vroom vroom. They make me laugh. I am so glad they can entertain themselves!!!

Come on in. Well Bent is having a rough time lately. He has one of the worst ear infections he has ever got. So today was touch and go. He didn't really feel up to much. It would of been the perfect day to go to the park, so while sitting at home i thought lets build a hut. You know i need to start thinking like a boy. I have three.

It's funny to me how every one thinks i am crazy for having three kids so close. Every two years really. But I am so greatful for these little ones and being a mother is what i was supposed to do. Brody is my sensitive one. Through and through just like me. He is caring, a pleaser, all around pretty good kid. Bently is Blake in a 2 yr old body. Super stubborn, independant, extremely funny, and so cute. They are my life. They drive me crazy, keep me sane, make life interesting, and worthwhile. Riley... he is the best baby ever. He has reflux although you would never know it. He sleeps through the night. I can lay him in his bed during the day and he will go right to sleep. He is so happy and loves his brothers. I am so blessed to be a mother. So lucky really. They got me this cute cake and some lotions.
I am so greatful for my own mothers.
I am very blessed, and lucky to have what i have.

I want to introduce you to Daylon. Daylon was born with Junctional Epidermolysis Bullosa Herlitz and was given less than 1 year to live.

The only hope for this sweet little baby is a clinical trial currently taking place at the University of Minnesota. Through a combination of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, doctors there hope they can save Daylon’s life. Daylon will be the first patient with Junctional Epidermolysis Bullosa (JEB) in the world to receive this treatment! He will make medical history.

However, this treatment is expensive. Daylon's family cannot afford the treatment to save Daylon on their own.

Just to get out with the fam, on a nice day we decided to go to the Discovery Park. It was perfect weather and not to busy. The boys were going to fast i couldn't even take a picture fast enough.
I made Brody stop. But only for a few seconds cuz he was gone again.

Bently loved the slide. All by himself. Thankgoodness, cuz i can't fit very well.

Great week

We had one of the best weeks ever!!! We flew kites, rode bikes, flew airplanes, went to Kolob Canyon, and had a lot of family time. So fun. and by we i mean all FIVE of us. Blake took time off for a while. I loved it.

Kolob canyon was kind of a disappointment though. I thought it would be comparable to Zion, and boy was i wrong. Also it was freezing and there was a lot of snow up there. So we didn't get out and walk around. But it was fun to get out and do something different. Since the doc recommended we stay at home for a while so riley can get older and not get sick, I am running out of entertainment. So doing all this stuff was a blast.

Now spring needs to come so they can play outside all time.... and not drive me crazy. but don't worry we got 3 inches of snow today. blah

From the get go our bently was fiesty.

He was always so cute and super stubborn at the same time.

My Bently is 2. I can't believe it. We celebrated a few weeks early because blake wasn't going to be here on his bday. He got a new diego bike and a movie. And lots of toys from his granparents.

well i am starting to feel the "normal" life around here. We are all a little stir crazy, due to the fact that RSV is everywhere and we have to stay home. But the weather has been great allowing the boys to go out and play for a little while. Riley is starting to fill out a little more. But i still think he looks like a mini grandpa... A benjamin button if you will. :)

He is a really good baby. I am very lucky. I can't wait til he can smile and interact a little that is my favorite. We love our little riley.

Finally done

So we are finally done with bili lites. Riley has what is called "breastfeeding jaundice" In my breast milk i produce a hormone that won't let the Bilirubin leave Riley's body. Wierd i know. SO we are done checking his levels and he could very well be jaundice for up to two months. But at least we don't have to go get any more pokes... except for the PKU on friday. boo.

He is a very good baby. he only cries when he is getting hungry or when i change his bum, or give him a bath. Thank goodness. He is still is not on an eating schedule, he thinks he needs to eat every hour. Maybe he is growing?

He is so cute and so meant to be here as part of our family. We love him.

Seriously i can't imagine our lives without riley. I feel like he has been her forever.

He is all turned around with his days and nights. But he is eating well and everything is working on the other end too. :) He is so cute and we love him.

Here is the fun story.

We went in at 3 am and they started to soften my cervix. At 9 am they broke my water and i got my epidural shortly after. Then he came at 11:35. I pushed twice and out he came. He is doing really well. We are working on feeding, but not quite pros yet. He is stubborn like his daddy.

Love his little stork bite. It looks a lot better today. He is so little and so cute.

Brody and bently are really cute with him. Brody was very excited when we got home. Bently calls him "baby" They are going to be great big brothers already. I am glad we are home and i will post more pictures once we get settled in.

Sick Bently.
Well ready or not baby Riley is coming!!!! I am contracting up a storm, and all in all Pretty dang uncomfortable. Man the last weeks are brutal. Bently and brody are starting to feel better. yay. Now we just need bent back on his sleeping schedule. Bags are packed by the door, now i just need to do some laundry. But blogging is so much easier. :)

1 week count down

Well the one week count down begins!!!! We are being induced on the 22nd at 4 am. I can't beleive that he is almost here. WOW. This has flown.
But of course everthing must go haywire before that day. Right now bently is sick sick sick. He has a really bad cold, and respiratory junk, and NOW HAS PINK EYE. He is miserable, and really so am i. He isn't sleeping and so neither am i. It is brutal. Last night we had a sleep out all three of us in the living room on the floor. Brody needed a treatment, and bently just needed to be held. bUT what a week to do it. Hopefully everyone will be feeling better when we bring riley home. I will need to make sure i detox the house in a couple days. ya know every door and toy in the house.

But yes, unless my body decides to do something different We will have baby Riley on friday. i can't wait to see him. Wonder what he will look like. BRody or Bently?? I will try to post some pics soon.

Hold your kids a little closer

As i am sitting here, i am covered in tears. I just got done reading a story of a little 8 week old baby who fought for his life and now has returned to our Heavenly Father.
The hardships that he and his parents went through.... I can't imagine. He was diagnosed with RSV and Pertussis at his 8 week appt. My heart goes out to that mother as i sit here 3 weeks before i deliver my baby boy. I can't imagine losing my child and to see him suffer so badly. They named him Gavin after the moms brother that had passed before him. This family has gone through a lot.

Go take a look at it.... And hold your kids a little closer tonight. I know i will.

Well not much to report around here. Went to the dr earlier this week, I am dialated to a 2, and 50% effaced. Unfortunatley this can mean nothing. So we will just wait to my next appt. I have been getting little sleep, just cause i am so uncomfortable. And i can't do everything that i used to be able to do. Giving the boys baths is murder, when i have such a huge appendage growing infront of me. But it will be over before i know it. This pregnancy has gone by so fast. I can't believe it. I just tried to load a bunch of pictures and it didn't work so no pics i guess. Until later....

33 weeks and 2 days

So i am a scrapbooker as some of you may know so my fatness is something to document. I had brody take this picture of me in the bathroom while i was getting ready. Do you see the torpedo look that i start to show as i near the end? so wierd. Anyway good shot brody. oh and We are having bby riley on January 29th. Since my husband is never around my doc said he would induce me so we could plan on blake being there for sure. Seriously that is my biggest fear, having a baby alone. So after christmas is over i am going to be N-E-S-T-I-N-G. yea!!! My favorite part. If only it was easier to get up and down off the floor.
also i am very proud of this window treatment. I bought the valance at tjmaxx. for $5.00. Brought it home and it was short 6 inches on each side. drat. So i added brown fabric that i had handy and made it work. Then i found these sheer curtains at Big Lots. For oh so cheap. So i put them up there and i love how it makes the nursery feel. Well start to feel anyway. what do you think?

So i have been working my little patooty off trying to get the bently into brody's room and then focusing on getting the babys room done. While i was organizing my mind started wandering about the days before i found out if i was having a boy or girl. The thought of actually decorating in pink excited me. So then my mind played the not so nice game of giving me actual hope that this child who is repeatingly brusing my ribs, might be a girl. I remembered that they gave me some pictures from the day we had the ultrasound. So i put the disc in and looked at the beautiful pictures of this child in my tummy...

... and yet again i am reminded that without a doubt i am having a boy. So we might as well share with you his name. We decided to go with Riley Blake Brower. No "b" name you might ask. People we really didn't do that on purpose. It was a moment of FINALLY mom and dad actually agreeing on a name (bently). I really like the ring of it. What do you think???

So brody and i wrote a letter for santa. We walked out of mima's house and what do you know the postman drives up.

So we ran to him and brody got to personally deliver his letter!! Cutest thing ever.

It will make an adorable scrapbook page.

AND THEN..... knock knock and brody opens the door to none other than SANTA. Brody just sat and laughed. Bently was ok at first then he didn't want anything to do with him. Big scary red man.

Who needs the mall when he comes to your HOUSE!! Pretty much we had a great time. Except for last thursday brody came down with high high fevers. I took him to the doc and the back of his throat was covered in thick white infection. He has strep. So we got him on an antibiotic and it has started working. I hate sick kids. Xmas is almost here I can't believe it.

A very special day

So this past saturday, my brother and I were sealed to my parents for time

and all eternity. It was a very special, heartfelt, emotional day.

My gma allen was able to be there. She is 92. It was very hard for me to see her so unlike herself. Dementia and old age has taken over and she isn't her spunky self. But the most amazing thing is she was saying things that made me believe that she knew where we were and what was happening. It was amazing. The spirit was so strong.

What a special day it was for me and my family. I am so greatful to have the gosple in my life and be able to attend the temple with my family. My parents have been wonderful examples to me throughout my life and have always taught me to be a good person and to do the right things. I love them very much.

Christmas Spirit Already!!

So i attempted FHE tonight, I decided we would decorate our Christmas tree. So we got in our pjs and started decorating. Already you may ask??? Well we aren't going to be around the day after thanksgiving which is when we usually do it so I thought tonight would be a great time. Just a couple of days early.

This pic is for my fam. I am almost to the 10 week count down. This pregnancy has flown. I swear this little guy isn't so little. He is so active and likes to beat up my insides. I feel pretty good, but have the occasional backache, headache, leg cramp, braxton hicks, charly horse, and everything FUN that comes with being 7 months pregnant. No matter what the pain its worth it.

I have to tell this story so i don't forget. The other night blake and i were tag teaming bath time. Brody was still in the draining tub and blake was drying off bently. Blake yells "Cass get me a diaper. hurry cuz i think he is going to poop." SO i hurried as fast as i could and got him the diaper and clothes,"Oh freak cass he just pooped all over the towel" i turn the corner and there is blake just a snickering. So i give him the stink eye, and "say real funny". well bent must of picked sides because at that exact second bently peed all over blake.

Ask me how many times bently has peed on me.....

NEVER!!!
